Basic Theory of refrigeration required

The basic theory of refrigeration is required to assure a complete understanding of how all the components work. Theory is only one part of the overall training required to become a  qualified Operator. Hands on training and troubleshooting skills must also be developed to complete the package.
We offer a well rounded theory course which goes hand in hand with the other courses we offer and is the foundation for all the

other training.
We also offer advanced Operator training "In House" on your equipment. Our instructors are qualified to teach the basics and are or have been Operators themselves. A combination of our Basic ammonia refrigeration course and a hands on advanced Module has proven very effective in teaching Operators the proper procedures for a safer operation of Nh3 systems. Our proven track record  has

made this course and/or the advanced course very popular within the industry.
Ammonia refrigeration  can be made safer by training the people who work on the systems. We are committed in doing just that. Our goal is simple all it takes are dedicated instructors and willing students.  The rest is easy.  Our course makes it an attainable goal for everyone who wants to make refrigeration a safe industry.

All the tools required are in our Basic Course.

Is Training Really Important..?

Having the proper training while working on an ammonia refrigeration system can make a  difference between life and death.  Anhydrous Ammonia is  a very dangerous refrigerant which can and has caused death. The rules are simple, know what the dangers are or pay the price..!

Even Operators with 30 years experience can make mistakes and get into trouble with Nh3 systems. The more you know the better your chances are that you won't be caught off guard. OSHA has attempted to make sure that Operators of 10,000 pound systems and above have at least a basic understanding of

an Nh3 refrigeration system. What about all the other systems with 9,000 pounds of charge..! We need to make sure that all of our Operators have the right stuff. The lack of training can cause many to be injured or killed including  people in  your own  neighborhood .

"Why take a chance, it's your life protect it..! We can help you learn how..!"

OSHA is really Trying...

Hearing  the word  OSHA or EPA sometimes causes  panic in the industry but these agencies are simply attempting to make a  dangerous industry somewhat  safer for all of us. However, Ammonia Refrigeration systems are only a small part of the task these agencies

have taken on  and requires much more than they can give.  We knew there was a  need for stronger rules and regulations but unfortunately, the industry did not attempt to police itself  so government intervention was inevitable.   But is it enough to assure that everyone working

with anhydrous ammonia will be safe..? Without the proper training and continued self improvement the industry will continue to be regarded as the other Refrigeration systems... "Stinks real bad.!"

Is what Government doing enough..?
